Outside of London, rents have climbed to an average of £1,349 per month. Within London, the average rent is now £2,698 each month. This marks the 14th time in a row that rents have risen every three months. This rent increase is mainly because more people are looking for homes than there are homes available.  Even with an 11% rise in [new rental listings](https://www.magnateassets.com/en/build-to-rent-projects) compared to last year, the number of rental homes is still 18% lower than before the pandemic. As a result, each rental property on average gets around 12 enquiries, twice the amount seen in early 2019.  For investors, this situation brings a fantastic opportunity. High demand and fewer available homes make it a beneficial time for landlords since properties are leased out quickly and rental earnings are strong.  The UK is also a secure place for investment thanks to its stable government, clear legal system, and reliable property laws. Another advantage of the UK property market is its broad range of tenants, such as working professionals, students, and families.
